New Ways to Water "fresh from the Spring" 
An interview with the water-researcher and author Ulrich Holst

What exactly is “Water Vitalizing”? Some people also speak of “Water Energizing”? Is it the same? 
 
Ulrich Holst: All these terms and definitions mean a physical procedure, that brings back the quality and energy of fresh spring water to water. The whole procedure works quite simple and without the use of any chemistry or electricity. The water is either swirled or exposed to a subtle network of vibes. 

What gave you the idea to write a book about water vitalizing? 
 
This is quite a long story. About ten years ago, my wife had her fifth herniated disk. She was working as a nurse and her job was at stake. Her physician gave her the choice: Either knife or drinking more water! It turned out that she often had been working for hours without drinking any water. Her body was completely dehydrated. Her intervertebral disks were ruptured and tended to slip with every wrong movement. Needless to say that her choice was drinking more water: At least one glass every hour – lukewarm! But she didn’t like tap water, it needed to be bottled-water. Only a few weeks later she felt considerably better, but I felt more and more bad. I was annoyed by the carrying of water crates and the burden it put on our finances. This could not be the solution. I started to look for alternatives. Soon I found small eco-high-tech gadgets, which were to purify tap water. In the beginning we were very skeptical but we were amazed about the great taste of our purified tap water. No problem anymore to drink two or three liter a day. This water “runs”. You can really feel how your energy recovers. For many years we’ve been drinking "spring" water from our own tap now and so did our dog, where before he preferred even the dirtiest puddle water. Since I am engaged a lot with water anyway – I am a dowser – the spirit of research hit me and that’s how the book Healing Power of Energized Water came about....

Is Water Vitalizing an Alternative to Mineral Water?
  
Definitely! It cannot be the solution for the future that every German citizen consumes about 130 liter of bottled water a year. There is an enormous pollution of the environment involved. Just think about all the trucks that shuttle around Europe in order to transport the bottles. That’s needless. Everyone can get their spring water from their own tap.

How does Water Vitalizing work? What is the secret? 
 
To put it simply: The water gets back to its natural character. If you have ever observed a river you might have seen that it builds up small and big whirls. It does not run straight. It wriggles its way through the landscape. Even a raindrop, running vertically down a glass pane does not take the easy way but builds up little whirls. These whirls are essential for the water because it builds up its energy and refines it through them. In our conduits water cannot carry out these whirl motions. Its molecular structure stagnates and it becomes low-energy. The water does not really activate or refresh us anymore. With the help of water vitalizing it becomes unstressed and very fine and harmonic on its molecular level. That makes it much easier for water to soluble substances and transport them, a benefit not only for the human metabolism.

Water Vitalizing is not only used in private Households? 
 
No, many market gardens, laundries and farms use vitalized water. Plants are more resistant to infestations by vermin, far less cleaning supplies are needed and the veterinarian becomes a rare guest on the farms. Lets just say that naturally all biological functions depend on water – directly or indirectly. If you have water that is fresh and vital like spring water you might experience some small miracles.

What is the Science’s Reaction to it? 
 
Modern water vitalizing technology has been existing for about 20 years. In the beginning it was completely ignored and said to be esoteric hocus-pocus. Nowadays even the spaceport of the University of Stuttgart is researching this subject. There are numerous scientific studies, which document the effect of this technology. Very effective and inexpensive solutions to adopt water vitalizing on a large scale emerge – for example in water body restoration.

Are there concrete experiences yet?  

Yes, several. A few years ago the Dreipfuhl Lake in Berlin has been remediated by using only this technology – no pumping down, no earth moving works, no use of any chemicals or the like. They just installed some water vitalizing gadgets. Since then the lake has not collapsed nor has had any bad smell to it but now has a healthy fish and plant population.

Those are pleasant prospects. 
 
Indeed. It breaks into a complete new field with marvellous possibilities. For example: Studies on big agricultural plantations in Spain have shown that one can increase the harvest remarkably by using the technology of water vitalizing. At the same time the need of pesticides decreases. This also conserves the ground water whose level sinks more and more, and which builds the main pool of the drinking water supply. Some water vitalizing-organisations have also been active in so called Third World Countries for a few years now. In these countries the water quality tends to be disastrous. The gadgets are very easy to install, do not need maintenance and run without electricity. That’s why they are an ideal solution for making vital water available for everybody. There are already some pleasing developments in progress which will also help to free people from big water concerns.
